Artist review: TetraSphere

By Squiggly Meyers

Deep in the heart of Tennessee, we find the band TetraSphere. A hard rocking metal band made up of five musical titans. Formed in 2021, this band has grown to be a formidable contender in the rock scene. With a hard-hitting rhythm section and vocals that pierce through to the marrow. Let me tell you music lovers, TetraSphere does not disappoint. While bringing a fresh flavor to the palette, these guys hook you with their old school charm.

Reminiscent of breakthrough artists such as Dream Theater and Iron Maiden, their cutting-edge musicianship calls to mind Prog giants like King Crimson, ELP, and Rush. With the ferocity of Morgansternโ€™s drumming coupled with the harmonic guitar work of Elliott and Phillips and Grahamโ€™s thunderous grooves on bass, make the tight musicianship awe inspiring to say the least. The icing on the cake comes when Hyder brings his minstrel-like vocals to weave their songs together. In this observerโ€™s opinion, music lovers, TetraSphere is a legend in the making.

Song Review: Where Do We Go From Here?

By Squiggly Meyers

What the FUZZ music lovers!!! TetraSphereโ€™s song, โ€˜Where do we go from here?โ€, the final cut off their debut EP entitled โ€œFinallyโ€. This song hits the ground running, with itโ€™s fuzzed out guitar intro akin to being catapulted off an aircraft carrier. The adrenalin rush just grows from this point on. With afterburners full weโ€™re taken for a stellar ride. The guitar work is phenomenal as Elliot and Phillips sore through the atmosphere, while the powerhouse engine of Graham and Morganstern drive the song into weightlessness, as depicted by the mellow section.

Everything seems to go into slow motion as we float in musical harmony, then gravity takes over as weโ€™re pulled into a power dive. The vocals provided by Hyder seem to echo the sentiment as the lyrics beg the question, where do we go from here? Well, where to gentlemen? I suppose we have only the universe to explore. As the closing track for this powerful debut, it seems to me that their next stop on this musical journey lies in โ€œThe Fourth Worldโ€, TetraSphereโ€™s full length album due to arrive in December โ€™23. TetraSphere, you have a green panel. You are a go for launch. If by chance you find Major Tom, bring him home.
