Artist review: Sepsiss
Another New England contribution is the band Sepsiss, one of the foremost female fronted bands of our time. Sepsiss got its start in 2010 and though they have gone through some difficult times, they have persevered. Sepsiss pulls you in with a hard-core rhythm section, not unlike Disturbed and Slipknot, which lays the bridge for Melissaโs piercing vocals. Sepsiss is, in my opinion, a diamond just waiting to be discovered.
The band is made up of seemingly ordinary people, but when the lights hit the stage they morph into another worldly entity. You know, if there is life on Mars, Sepsiss is their recon mission, and the invasion has already begun. Resistance is futile music lovers, Sepsiss is here.

Song review: Sepsiss โ Yesterday Isnโt Me
This song crashes the party with an explosive bang. Reminiscent of bands such as Slipknot and Mudvayne, itโs a heavy hitter indeed. The rhythm is a pile-driving epic job with the duo guitar work alongside the pneumatic kick drum and bass combo. Then, without warning, youโre hit by that angelic voice along with its brutal counterpart which complement each other so well. Lyrically, it affirms the fact that we evolve from day to day, and we need to accept that in us and others. In short, itโs the here and now that we should cherish as we look to the future.
Song review: Sepsiss โ Blacklight Invasion
Sepsiss, the love child of Mudvayne and Evanescence (unconfirmed), but I mean really, what an incredible song this is. Right from the start, you know youโre in for an epic ride. Again, weโre pulled in by that brutal rhythm section that delivers a gut punching force of sound. The heavy guitar/bass work and heart pounding drums, along with that layered synth, are enough to blow your head off.
Coupled with vocals delivered by this yin and yang duo, “Blacklight Invasion” is a powerhouse of energy. This song cements Sepsiss as one of the foremost female fronted bands of the post pandemic world. The invasion has begun music lovers and the Cat Overlords are running for the hills. The hour of Sepsiss is here.
